Rockley International has been working in close Partnership with the Turkish Yachting Federation (TSF) to develop and establish a Turkish National Training framework for Dinghy Sailing, Yachting and Windsurfing.
The phased project has initially seen Rockley International develop TSF National Training Syllabi. The next stages of develop will see the training of TSF Instructors and the establishment of TSF recognised Training Centre.

Rockley International has successful delivered a sail-training programme to a group of 24 Oman Sail students. The course was based from Rockley's UK Instructor Training Centre of Excellence.

The initial section of the programme was designed to train the students in core sailing and powerboating skills. The second section saw the students split into specialised disciplines - Hobie Cat Sailing, Race Training, Offshore Yacht Training & Dinghy instructor Training.

This programme has given the candidates the qualifications & skills needed to develop personally. The programme will also enable Oman Sail to develop as a centre of excellence for Sail Training in Oman.

Congratulations to the Rockley International team - Richard Percy, Pip Woods & Rob Clark - all have been appointed ISAF Inspector/ Facilitators. Within this new role all three will be working internationally on ISAF 'Train the Trainer' and Instructor workshops. Both workshops have been designed to give personnel within National Sailing Federations the knowledge and expertise needed to work toward ISAF Connect to Sailing Accreditation status.

September 2009 saw the inaugural ISAF 'Train the Trainers' workshop in the U.A.E. Rockley Internationals Managing Director - Richard Percy worked alongside Dan Jaspers - ISAF Development and Training Manager to deliver this successful course.
